CURVED GARDEN
Responding to the architecture of curved windows, exposed interior brick walls and polished concrete floors, this design extends the same materials into the garden to create a strong marriage between house and garden.
Leftover secondhand bricks were used to create the curved built-in seat. Saw cut concrete inlaid with circles of brick formed the garden floor. The result is a dramatically increased sense of space — a narrow garden appears wider than it actually is and blends beautifully with the house.
